New movie, not Bros, may be the next iconic film LGBTQ community’s been looking for.
Bros, starring Billy Eichner, came and went in theaters last fall. It made 14 million off a 21 million dollar budget, reporting a significant loss overall. Eichner has been known as a rather abrasive figure, playing a difficult person on the TV show "Difficult People" as well as being famous for his "Billy on the Street" bits, where he would shove a camera in someone's face and loudly ask them questions about celebrity culture.
Known to be funny, yes, but likable? Not so much.
But "The Big Bang Theory"'s Jim Parsons fits that role. He might just make for the magic ingredient as the LGBTQ community waits to be represented prominently in film.
It's a true story based off a memoir, and expect a number of classic Parson quips in the film. KYMA has the preview of "Spoiler Alert" for you to check out.
