Investigation into Chesapeake Walmart shooting complete
CHESAPEAKE, Virg. (NBC) - Authorities complete their crime scene investigation at the Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, where a gunman killed six people Tuesday.
The FBI and the Chesapeake Police Forensic Unit released a statement that the store is now in Walmart's hands to "determine what comes next for this location."
Overall, authorities say the shooter was a Walmart supervisor who died at the scene of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
They say he bought the gun legally just hours before the rampage.
Not only that, he left a note on his phone complaining that his coworkers harassed him and mocked him.
They say the gunman had no criminal history.
