Arizona Western College hosts Senior Day from October 25-26

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma County High School students learned about career opportunities they may find at Arizona Western College (AWC) after they graduate.

During today's Senior Day on October 26, students were able to experience classes first-hand.

The college wants them to know they don't have to leave Yuma to get a good post-high school education.

"Career opportunities, programs, degrees, certificates. everything they might be interested in after they graduated from high school. We hop to inform them about the services," stated Admissions Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator Viridiana Martinez.

AWC says it's important to have these events so Yuma students are aware of all the career opportunities provided at the Yuma and San Luis campuses.
