Tempe PD in search of theft suspect
Both suspect and cash unaccounted for
The FBI and the Tempe Police Department are in search of a thief, and are in need of the public's help.
Juan Carlos Ramirez, aged 20, is wanted for his alleged involvement in the theft from an armed Brinks vehicle at a Costco in Tempe.
The Brinks vehicle was found a short distance away from the Costco, with an undisclosed amount of money missing.
Ramirez has been charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft by the Superior Court of Maricopa County, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Ramirez is 5'10, weighs 185 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Brinks is offering a reward of up to 2,500 dollars for information leading to his arrest. Brinks is also offering an award of up to 25,000 dollars for information leading to recovery of the stolen money.
