Taylor Swift announces new album out October 21

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Taylor swift will be dropping her new album on October 21.

In her new album 'Midnight' - she says she'll share "the stories of 13 sleepless nights throughout" her life.

Swift tweeted the news after she made the big announcement at the MTV music video awards on Sunday - while accepting the award for video of the year.
