Prep basketball: Hawks snap 12-game winning streak

The Gila Ridge Hawks boys basketball team was riding on a 12-game winning streak, that is until Thursday when the hawks faced Buckeye.

The Hawks were leading in the third, but too many technical fouls put both teams on edge. Buckeye, however, was able to capitalize on errors taking the 92-76 win over the Hawks and snapping their 12-game winning streak.

The Hawks hope to bounce back against Cibola on January 21.
