AAP: Baby formula can be substituted with whole cow’s milk

MGN

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - A new recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics says babies over six months of age can drink whole cow's milk.

This information comes shortly after a national shortage of baby formula and if it's not available, then a whole cow's milk.

The AAP says a special formula for allergies isn't required, however, a baby should be limited to 24 hours of cow's milk a day.
