Sen. Kelly makes statement on Judge Jackson

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - On April 4, Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) made a statement about Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson who was recently nominated for the United States Supreme Court.

President Joe Biden recently nominated Judge Jackson and she will have confirmation hearings for a seat on the Supreme Court.

“I take my constitutional duties seriously and that includes carefully considering nominees for lifetime appointments. After speaking with Judge Jackson and reviewing her record and approach to deciding cases, I believe her to be very well qualified and having demonstrated a commitment to fairly interpret and uphold the Constitution on our nation’s highest court.
