A weather system is bringing cooler, windy conditions with some rain chances

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Starting the day with cloudy skies and we can expect to see these clouds stick around all throughout the day. We will see a mixture of clouds and sun with temperatures staying warm but slightly cooler than we felt this weekend.

Another storm system is moving in bringing us breezy to windy conditions along with chances to experience some rain for today. We can start to see some rain showers this afternoon and through the evening.

With the expected rain showers areas could receive about a tenth of an inch or slightly a little more.

We can expect gusty winds to continue with wind gusts of 30 to 35 MPH where some areas could even experience gusts up to 50 MPH. Blowing dust and sand is possible so make sure to take extra precautions. Through the night winds will continue to be breezy but not as gusty.

Chances for more scattered showers are likely early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we can also expect to stay breezy and continue to see lingering clouds along with cooler temperatures.
