YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As high pressure continues to build from the West, the pressure gradients between that system and the departed low continue to stay somewhat tight.

As a result, we continue to have relatively stiff winds on this Tuesday.

Yuma alone had wind gusts in the neighborhood of 25 to 30 miles per hour.

Daytime high temps have risen to the mid 80s and are expected to reach the 90s as soon as Thursday.

We might even have near record temperatures as we roll into the next weekend.
