Arizona Western College/Andale's Food Pantry

Hygiene packs will be distributed amongst students in need across Yuma and La Paz counties

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona Complete Health donated six boxes of hygiene packs to help Arizona Western College students who need assistance from Andale's Food Pantry.

Every box has 50 individual bags of hygiene items, totaling to 300 packs.

Arizona Complete Health's idea is to distribute the packs to students in need across Yuma and La Paz counties.

Parker Learning Center and Wellton Learning Center will each receive one box.

One to two boxes will go to the San Luis Learning Center.

The rest will remain at the Yuma Campus.

"Andale's Pantry is a valuable resource that helps provide food and hygiene products for students who are facing challenges. The donations from Arizona Complete Health are so important to our program because they will help us provide for a need and make a positive impact on our students," said Liz Hernandez, a member of the AWC Student Government Association. "I can't wait to personally give these out to students knowing that it will make their day better."
