Imperial boy’s soccer recieve postseason honors

10 players along with head coach Marco Aguilera named to Desert League / CIF 1st & 2nd teams

IMPERIAL, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - After winning the Desert League with an undefeated record and claiming the program's first ever CIF Division V Championship, the honors rolled in after the season for the Imperil Tigers boys soccer team.

Five Tigers were named to the Desert League / CIF First Team:
Lenny Garcia
Jehu Salazar
Jorge Nuñez
Nathan Luna
Saul Gonzalez

Five more were recognized on the Second Team:

Justin Garcia
Sebastian Gutierrez
Demian Ezpinoza
Daniel Ortega
Leonardo Lopez

Senior goalie Lenny Garcia was named Player of the Year.

Marco Aguilera was recognized as Coach of the Year.
