One last fundraiser for creator of ice bucket challenge

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A group of people came together to take a plunge into an Massachusetts ocean Saturday to honor Peter Frates, who began the ALS ice bucket challenge.

According to The Associated Press, about 1,000 people showed up for the final “Plunge for Pete”. Half of those people that showed up jumped into the cold waters. Saturday would have marked Peter's 35th birthday.
