Federal vaccine mandate receives pushback from more states

Biden administration getting pushback from mandates

U.S. (KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Attorney generals of several states have filed lawsuits against President Joe Biden administration's vaccine mandates.

Some states compel that any mandates regarding getting vaccinated should be set by the states themselves rather than the federal government, while others feel as though the mandates are "overreaching" and negatively impact the workforce.

Missouri's GOP attorney refers to the government's decision as “unconstitutional, unlawful, and unwise.”

At least 40 republicans are looking to challenge the mandate, with White House Deupty Press Secretary saying, "Why are they getting in the way of trying to protect and save lives. That's all we're trying to do."
