86% of active duty U.S. Military fully vaccinated

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Pentagon spokesman John Kirby says more than 86% of active duty U.S. Military members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Despite that number, only 68% of total U.S. Military forces are fully vaccinated.

That total number includes Reserve Forces, and National Guard members.

However, 82% of the total force has received at least one dose of vaccine.

As of last week, the Navy had fully or partially vaccinated 98% of its active duty force.

The Marine Corps had fully or partially vaccinated 92%.

The Army had fully or partially vaccinated 91.4% percent of its force.
