Pet Talk: Meet Otis and Chyna

For this week’s Pet Talk, we meet a cat and dog would be perfect for anyone who just wants a cuddle buddy.

Both pets are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma

Meet Otis, though at first glance he may seem standoffish, he is the exemplary definition of a cat who loves to just lounge around.

Otis is a 13-year-old orange and white domestic shorthair and he weighs in at about 10 pounds.

Though it took a little coaxing, Otis came out of his shell to bat around a feather toy.

He does, however, love to just be petted and take naps.

He would be perfect for an owner who doesn’t mind just having a pet to keep them company

And, Chyna, she is a 3-year-old black and white terrier-pitbull mix.

Chyna is the perfect example of a matriarchal dog.

This means she has become accustomed to being the main protector of her family.

Chyna needs a family with little to no sudden loud noises that would frighten her.

She loves to just sit at your feet or in your lap to love and watch over you.

She simply loves to be loved.

Both pets are available for the Humane Society of Yuma.

They are open Tuesday through Sunday and their number is 928-782-1621

Because CHYNA has been at the shelter for more than 30 days, She is eligible for 50% off his adoption fee as part of the lonely hearts campaign.
