YCSO seek suspect wanted for attempted kidnapping, assault

A man who allegedly held a woman against her will and assaulted her is wanted by authorities.

Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of a domestic assault incident on Tuesday at about 3:55 p.m. Deputies arrived on scene and met with the victim who told authorities she had been held against her will since Saturday, April 13. She added that she had been locked inside a trailer and assaulted several times by the suspect.

The suspect, 42-year-old Ralph Sivyer, is described as 265 pounds, 6 feet 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Sivyer is wanted for domestic violence kidnapping and domestic violence aggravated assault. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Sivyer is known to drive a black Cadillac Escalade, red Chevrolet Avalanche, and a black Nissan Maxima.
