Woman dies, toddler injured after being hit by pick-up truck
One woman is dead and one toddler has minor injuries after being hit by a pick-up truck Thursday night.
Yuma Police responded to the scene near Avenue C and Crane Street where a 54-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the woman was crossing the street while pushing a 3-year-old in a stroller when she was hit by the truck, according to YPD.
YPD adds that the toddler was thrown out of the way of the approaching truck.
