Cultural Film Festival celebrates hispanic filmmakers

The Festival Cultural de Cine film festival aims to celebrate films created by Spanish descent, Hispanic and/or Latino filmmakers.

The Yuma Arts Center and the Mexican Consulate in Yuma present a plethora of films that are culturally relevant to the Yuma area.

The festival is sponsored by Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma and supported by the City of Yuma.

Some films showcasing this week includes biographical films on singer Selena Quintanilla and artist Frida Kahlo , plus animated films like Coco and Ferdinand, just to name a few.

The festival is currently on until March 31.

Tickets are $5.00 per movie and $2.50 for students, seniors, and military with valid ID.
