Officials say marine transported to hospital after bar altercation
According to Yuma Police Department, Saturday morning at about 1:25 a.m., officers responded to Fat Harvey’s Bar, they say it was for a large disturbance in progress.
On arrival, officers found an unconscious 22-year old active duty Marine with serious injuries to the left side of his face in the dance floor area of the bar.
According to officials, he was transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation of his injuries.
The suspect or suspects who assaulted him are not yet identified.
