Vigil honors Brawley man killed

A candlelight vigil was held for Brawley business owner Ryan Harsany Tuesday night.

The vigil was held at Inferno restaurant, the business Harsany owned.

Harsany was killed at his roller-skating rink business in San Bernardino on Saturday.

His murder was a shock to the Brawley community.

Community members and leaders came together at the vigil to honor Ryan’s legacy.

” I think it has been hard on the community, but also I think that in a way it has brought us together, ” said Raul Arellano , an employee at Inferno.

Harsany was also a Brawley Chamber of Commerce board member.

Speakers at the vigil talked about the positive impact Harsany made in the community as a business leader and animal activist.

Harsany’s murder is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
