As part of the Interstate 8 pavement treatment project, ADOT crews will be applying oil to preserve and seal pavement, stripe the roadway and do related work.

The interstate will be reduced to one lane in both directions between Giss Parkway (Exit 1) and Foothills Boulevard (Exit 14).

Drivers should expect a three-mile lane restriction as crews progress through the work zone.

The west- and eastbound I-8 off- and on-ramps at Foothills Boulevard (Exit 14) will close intermittently. A 12-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place. Alternate routes include using the preceding I-8 on-ramp or exit in the work zone.
