Business owners arrested for fraud schemes in the Foothills

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and booked two suspects for fraud schemes happening in the Foothills area on Sunday.

Yvette Reckards and Michael Reckards have been booked for Theft, Theft from a vulnerable adult, Fraudulent schemes, Conspiracy, and Theft-Obtain by Misrepresent, according to YCSO

YCSO said deputies have met with the numerous reporting parties that have stated that they had made arrangements with Yvette’s Homes Sales to either purchase or sell an existing park model home in several trailer parks within Yuma County.

In each instance, the suspects have failed to complete the agreed transactions.

Both suspects are currently at the Yuma County Detention Center.

This case remains under investigation.
