Grand opening of Sunset Community Health Center

The grand opening celebration for the new Sunset Community Health Center took place Thursday afternoon in Yuma. The new site is on the north side of Yuma.

The event featured tours of the new building, food, and speakers that had a major impact on the new establishment. This new location, right beside Immaculate Conception Catholic Church was developed from the ground up to be the new site of the health care center that provides primary care services.

“There will be some elected officials and some members of the community here. Board of directors and staff will also be in attendance to celebrate the opening of this new location, which will add primarily dental services and pharmacy services, along with the medical services we already provide,” said David Rogers, CEO of Sunset Community Health Center.

Another key feature of this new location is its size. Due to there being more room, the Sunset Community Health Center is relocating several departments that have currently outgrown their current space such as the Billing and Human Resources Department.
