Local teenager battles rare bone cancer

Fourteen-year-old Kate Campa was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer ewing’s sarcoma and will undergo her fourth cycle of chemo treatment next week

Campa was diagnosed on December 13th and will continue undergoing treatment the Children’s Phoenix Hospital.

“At first it was very scary but now that I think about it cancer is something that is now part of my daily life,” said Kate Campa.
