Yuma Art Center hosts Art in the Park
On Saturday at Gateway Park, the Yuma Art Center is hosting “Art in the Park.” According to the City’s website, the festival is modeled after Georges Seurat’s stoic painting, ‘Sunday on La Grande Jatte.” Art in the Park features local and regional artists alongside the banks of the river. The event will continue until 5:00 Saturday evening.
According to the Marketing specialist for the Yuma Art Center, depending on the amount of rain, the event will continue with the possibility of weather changes.
Guests will be able to walk along the river to look at different types of art. There are also food trucks, live music and a bar for guests to enjoy.
Admission is $1.
