Mayor of San Luis sworn in for second term
San Luis mayor and three City Council members took the oath of office Tuesday night at San Luis City Hall.
Mayor Gerardo Sanchez will be serving a second four-year term as the mayor of San Luis.
During the ceremony, Sanchez promised to work on bettering economic development and security in San Luis.
“Economic development is very important. Before there wasn’t the infrastructure or the water system nor wastewater treatment, the draining system. We didn’t have any of that,” said Sanchez.
Mayor Sanchez also thanked the community for the opportunity to continue serving them.
