Migrant workers react to border wait times in San Luis

Thousands of migrant workers cross daily from San Luis, Rio Colorado to work in the field of Yuma. With President Donald Trump’s recent threat to close down the Southern Border now leaves people who cross every day for work in concern.

Among those thousands is Christian Rodriguez, who said that over the weekend he had to wait at the pedestrian walk-way entry more than 3-hours.

“I cross every day for work with my daughter who goes to school. If they close the border that means no work, no education for my daughter, and that’s really upsetting,” said Rodriguez.
