Pet Talk: Meet Lacey and Kira
In a brand new Pet Talk, we introduce you to a beautiful long-haired cat and a fun loving active Belgian Malinois mix. Both pets are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.
First up is Lacey. This creamy white and brown cat is a stunner with crystal blue eyes and a folded ear. She originally arrived at the shelter in July for being destructive in the home but has since been confined to her cubby at the shelter. While she doesn’t enjoy toys or the presence of other cats, she does enjoy attention from people and doesn’t mind being held. She weighs about 12 pounds and is estimated to be around three-years-old.
Next up is a vivacious Belgian Malinois mix named Shakira aka Kira. She is said to be about four-years-old and was given up by her owners due to their allergies. Kira is house-trained, knows her commands, and loves to run outside and play fetch. She can be a bit timid around other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is extremely important if there is another dog in the household. She does extremely well with children and would make a great family pet. She weighs 52 pounds and is already spayed.
If you are interested in either Lacey or Kira, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more details head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page.
