Gowan Science Academy hosts annual Barn Bash event
The Gowan Science Academy is holding its 6th annual Barn Bash event from noon until 3:00 P.M.
This year, the school is partnering with Arizona’s Children Association to do change for children at the event.
The ACA supports local foster families and foster children either in out of their foster home.
They also support transitioning children who may have not been adopted but have been in and out of foster care.
The ACA is able to help this specific age group transition into adulthood.
They also license foster families and support kinship families – family members that adopt children within the family.
The GSA and ACA both worked to plan the event so students could learn more about the association and make donations through change for children.
