VP and Rep. McSally to arrive in Yuma Friday

Vice President Mike Pence and Representative Martha McSally will be rallying voters in Yuma Friday on one of the final stops before voters decide if McSally will be the next U.S. Senator to represent Arizona.

McSally is expected to meet with members of the agriculture community at a fundraiser before she speaks to voters at the Joe Foss Hangar at 5 p.m.

“She’s represented Arizona well as a congresswoman and will continue to do so as a Senator. She listens and she understands to really understand our problems and what’s going on with our ag industry. I think she’s totally willing to work with us to help us,” said Gary Pasquinelli, host of the fundraiser.

Pasquinelli, a local grower, is eager for McSally’s arrival because he claimed she has pledged to work with the agriculture community on worker programs.

There is no word on whether Vice President Pence will be in attendance at the fundraiser.
