YPD investigates shooting that led to school lockdown

McGraw Elementary School conducted a soft lockdown Monday morning regarding a shooting that was reported at Kennedy Memorial Park, according to the Yuma Police Department.

YPD said they responded to a shots fired call at around 9:30 a.m.

After speaking to witnesses and investigating the area, the soft lockdown was lifted.

YPD said the shooting is still under investigation.
