Suspected drug smugglers dressed in camo arrested

Border Patrol arrested four Mexican nationals suspected of drug smuggling who dressed in camouflage to avoid capture Friday morning.

According to a press release, Wellton Station Border Patrol agents near Gila Bend arrested four men who were seen trying to avoid capture by wearing camouflage clothing and carpet on the bottom of their shoes.

The drugs had a combined weight of 150 pounds and an estimated street value of $75,110.

All four individuals will be processed for the transportation of a controlled substance and immigration violations.
