New after school program allows students to stay on school grounds

As a parent, it may be difficult to encourage your students to get their homework done after school.

In addition, it may be hard to leave your child at an after school program for hours at a time.

A new program: Right at School is hoping to change that.

Right at School is a new after-school program that began in August available to eight different schools.

Tutors and school administrators are able to be in close communication creating a piece of mind for parents.

Right at School hopes to work not only with students but with teachers and students as well.

“Our mission is to inspire a love of learning support our community and schools and also give her peace of mind to our parents,” said Area Manager Silvia Rivera.

Your students are able to receive homework help from tutors, a snack from the school and town hall meetings that boost the student’s participation and communication skills.

Aside from classroom lessons, students have access to additional unit activities through Right at School.

The Right at School program offers tutoring before school and at various locations from 6:30 am to 8:15 am.

After school club is provided until 6:00.
