Ecuador’s Carapaz wins men’s road race gold, Pogacar bronze

Richard Carapaz earns Ecuador its third-ever Summer Olympic medal by winning the men’s road race, beating 2019 world silver medalist Wout Van Aert of Belgium and two-time reigning Tour winner Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia.
