Pet Talk: Meet Bonnie and Khan

Everyone needs a little Pet Talk. Tonight we meet a black and white cat named Bonnie and a mastiff mix named Khan. News 11 has the details on these animals in a brand new Pet Talk.

First up is Bonnie, a black and white mama cat that arrived at the shelter in August. Bonnie was found pregnant in a hoarding situation in Yuma. Unfortunately none of her kittens survived, but she did. She is a super loving, outgoing cat that enjoys being held and being around her humans. She has a curious nature so letting her roam and explore will be one of her favorite activities. She’s not too vocal and only weighs about 9 pounds.

Next is Khan, the Bullmastiff mix. Khan is a sturdy 85 pounds and is said to be about four-years-old. He was surrendered due to his owner not having enough time for him. He requires a family that is really going to take the time to look after him and give him the exercise he needs. Khan is completely unaware of his size and enjoys just lying on his side getting his belly rubbed. He can be a bit timid with men, but does well with other dogs and knows basic commands. He really is a spectacular find that anyone would be lucky to have.

If you are interested either Bonnie or Khan, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621.

They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma.
