Chicago man wanted for murder found in Yuma neighborhood

A Chicago man wanted for murder was taken into custody after being found in a Yuma neighborhood on Friday night.

According to the U.S. Marshal Service, Isaiah Brown had been on the run after murdering Jermarion Jackson in April 2018.

With Brown on the other side of the country, the U.S. Marshals service led the Wanted Violent Offender Task Force and Yuma Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team to the 4700 block of West 27th lane in Yuma.

After a brief standoff with police, Brown safely surrender without incident and was transported to the Yuma County Adult Detention Center where he is waiting to return back to Illinois.
