Email Marketing & Blogging

In August 2018, the Yuma Main Library, in collaboration with Vanessa Castillo, will host a Summer Business Series at the Main Library. Aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and students are invited to attend workshops focusing on marketing and social media.

Vanessa Castillo, local small business consultant and digital marketing expert, will present “Email Marketing & Blogging” on Thursday, August 23, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A. Join us for an overview of email marketing and learn how to incorporate blogging into your marketing strategy to help your business grow.

FamilySearch.org

On Saturday, August 25, the Genealogical Society of Yuma will present “FamilySearch.org” at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. Learn about new genealogy resources available through FamilySearch.org, a nonprofit family history organization. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to this workshop. There is no charge to attend.

Small Steps to Health & Wealth

Looking for ways to live a healthier life and achieve financial security? Small Steps to Health and Wealth™ is designed to help you implement behavior change strategies that simultaneously improve your health and personal finances.

On Saturday, August 25, Melissa Wyatt, Yuma County Family, Consumer, and Health Sciences Agent for the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, will present an introduction to the Small Steps to Health and Wealth™ program at 1:00 p.m. at the Main Library. Learn more about the connections between health and wealth, how the program works, and what topics are covered.
