Suspects tried as adults in cab driver homicide
UPDATE:
Tyrus Nathan Twist and Haley Dawn Hoover have officially been charged with one count each of first-degree murder.
We typically do not identify minors, but we are identifying Twist and Hoover because they are being tried as adults for the incident.
The bond set for both teens is $500,000 cash-only.
The teens made their initial appearance in court on Friday and their next court appearance will be on August 27, at 2 p.m.

The two suspects arrested in the murder of a local taxi cab driver have now been identified.
Tyrus Nathan Twist, 16, and Haley Dawn Hoover, 16, will appear in front of Judge Guerrero at the South County Justice Court in San Luis, on Friday at 11 a.m.
When arrested the Somerton Police Department said both juveniles were booked for one count of first-degree murder.
Both suspects are now charged as adults.
ORIGINAL STORY : Two teens arrested in taxi cab driver murder
On Tuesday, July 31 at approximately 6:39 p.m., officers from the Somerton Police Department were called to the area of Highway 95 at milepost 16 in response to a report of a deceased person.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive man lying a short distance off the roadway in the desert area who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. The man was identified as Guillermo Sotelo of San Luis, Mexico.
Sotelo had been reported missing the day before. He was a driver for Crazy 8’s Taxi Company and was last believed to be en route to Somerton to pick-up a passenger.
Crazy 8’s Cab Co. is collecting donations for Sotelo’s family.
