Two houses, vehicle catch fire in Yuma neighborhood

UPDATE

Two homes and a vehicle caught on fire at the 2200 block of West Brook Street Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said.

The Yuma Fire Department said personnel arrived at 3:30 p.m. to find portions of two homes and a vehicle on fire. People were inside of the homes when the fire was reported but were able to evacuate.

Authorities said the fire has been put out and fire crews are working on hot spots and flare-ups. No injuries were reported.

Fire officials are advising the public to stay clear of the immediate area.
