El Centro Police Department still on the look out for the person who stabbed a homeless man
The El Centro Police Department is still on the hunt for the person who stabbed a homeless man at a bus stop.
A homeless mas was stabbed multiple times Monday night. He was found unconscious and bleeding.
One community leader who’s been involved with helping the homeless, said this happens often because the homeless are an easy target.
“Well because they’re vulnerable. Because they probably don’t have the resources or the support that they need if anything were to happen to them. The idea is nobody cares,”Rosa Diaz, CEO/Founder of Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center.
Fortunately the homeless man was able to speak to the police before being taken to the hospital but was unable to describe who stabbed him.
Anyone with information about the stabbing can contact the El Centro Police Department.
