Multiple agencies collaborated together to arrest one of Yuma Sector’s top five most wanted individuals who they say was involved with human smuggling.

U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested 52-year-old Jesus Dozal-Castillo on July 18th, after Dozal-Castillo, a U.S. citizen, was found to be coordinating multiple illegal immigrant smuggling events that happened at the Wellton Station Interstate 8 immigration checkpoint and in Dome Valley.

Dozal-Castillo was detained at the San Luis Port of Entry and arrested on charges of Conspiracy to Transport Illegal Aliens and Transportation of an Illegal Alien for Profit.

He was living in Yuma at the time of his arrest and is currently awaiting trial.
