Arizona Representative Tim Dunn stands with Governor Ducey on ICE

Wrong and reckless are the adjectives Arizona Governor, Doug Ducey used to describe the thought of getting rid of the Immigration Enforcement Agency known as ICE.

According to a survey by the Morning Consult/POLITICO, (National survey on ICE), a market research company, 25 percent of people surveyed believe the federal government should get rid of ICE while the majority 54 percent say the government should keep the agency.

Arizona governor, Doug Ducey expressed the calls to abolish ice are wrong and reckless and took on twitter to say that ICE makes our communities and our country safer. According to Ducey, just last year in the state of Arizona, ICE arrested 5,000 members of violent gangs, seized 2,370 pounds of fentanyl and 6,697 pounds of heroin.

Arizona State Representative, Tim Dunn agrees with Gov. Ducey, as he believes the abolishment of ICE could bring utter chaos to the country.

“The agenda is that they want to get rid of ICE because they want to make sure we have open borders and we don’t deport those that are here illegally…so it would just create chaos and there are about 37,000 people that deport annually, it would just be reckless on that side of the agenda,” said Arizona Rep., Tim Dunn.
