Police find pictures and video of minor in sexual misconduct case
The Yuma Police Department arrested and booked 36-year-old Daniel Christopher Rico III last Thursday for allegedly having sexual contact with a young girl who knew him.
The victim was under the age of 15 at the time of the incident which occurred from 2013 to 2016.
According to the charges, Rico had pictures and videos of the victim. One of them titled “Girl on spider-man sheet with two buns on head.”
Rico is being held on a $200,000 bond and is facing eight counts in relation to this case for sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of sexual conduct with a minor, and three counts of aggravated assault.
News 11 reached out to Rico’s lawyer, but he declined to comment on the case.
Rico is reported to be back in court Friday, June 29, at 4 p.m.
