Multiple arrests made following reported burglary, stabbing, carjacking incidents

Local police made multiple arrests Tuesday. Some of the calls they responded to included a reported burglary, stabbing, and carjacking incident.

Before those incidents occurred, officers with the Calexico Police Department located a parolee who was wanted for a felony case in El Centro. He was arrested and handed over to El Centro Police Department.

Afterwards, CPD received a call of a home invasion burglary that just occurred. Police say they received another call of a vehicle burglary and the suspect happened to be the same one from the home invasion burglary. The suspect went into a residence nearby which resulted in a short standoff. However, he was soon arrested and taken into custody.

Next, officers received a report of someone being stabbed during a carjacking. The victim’s white Camaro was taken. Police later found the vehicle and arrested the suspect as he attempted to flee the scene on foot.

Police later responded to an incident where a woman was being physically attacked by a man. Officers arriving on the scene saw the incident happening and the man was arrested for various felony charges.

CPD received another report of a second stolen vehicle out of El Centro. They found it and took the driver of the stolen vehicle into custody.

No other information about these incidents were released. This article will be updated once more information becomes available. Photos from Calexico Police Officer Association.
