Police seek suspects involved in non-profit burglaries

The Yuma Police Department is searching for two suspects who they say burglarized a non-profit thrift shop four times in Yuma.

Police said the burglaries happened at Amberly’s Place Thrift Shop in Yuma between May 25th and June 5th.

The suspects can be seen from photos taking items from the donation storage area, police said.

Amberly’s Place is an asset to the community, offering ” immediate crisis intervention, on-site medical attention, and one-time video interviews to avoid re-traumatization of victims while providing a safe and nurturing environment,” according to their website.

The Thrift Store is one of the ways for Amberly’s Place to raise money to keep the victim advocacy center open.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with information to call them at (928)-783-4421 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.

If your tip leads to an arrest, you may receive up to $1,000 cash reward.
