Pet Talk: Meet Purdy and Chester

Tonight, in a brand new Pet Talk, we meet two unique looking animals. Both at the Humane Society of Yuma, waiting to be adopted.

Meet Purdy. A blue-eyed, brown-eyed pit bull beauty. This five-year-old acts like a puppy and needs a lot of attention. She was brought to the shelter back in January and is currently one of the shelters longest residents. She knows commands, loves her treats and can be very loyal. She is dog friendly and would do great with older kids in the home. If you are an active person, Purdy would be a perfect fit. She is spayed and said to weigh around 45 pounds. Her days at the shelter are limited, so please visit her today!

Next is Chester. A funny cat that loves to play around. Very personable, he enjoys climbing and rubbing up against people. He’s not the biggest fan of other cats and tends to want your undivided attention. He’s estimated to be around two-years-old and he arrived at the shelter in April as an owner turn in.

If you are interested either Purdy or Chester, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621.

They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma.
