Foothills house fire sends one to the hospital
A house fire reported in the Foothills area resulted in one resident being hospitalized early Wednesday morning.
Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a house fire that was located in the 12000 block of Joleane Avenue at 4:10 a.m.
Authorities said the homeowner was out with a garden hose trying to put out the fire.
Rural Metro Fire crews arrived at the scene of a fully-involved house fire. The resident suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The fire is under investigation.
