“Yuma” makes it to 2017 Baby Names (kind of)

It’s one of the hardest choices a parent has to do; naming their child. For many it’s as simple as naming their child after a relative or maybe combining the parent’s names to make one unique name. Those names are filed with the Social Security Administration and each year they release the most popular names of the year.

But, aside from the top 1,000 most popular names there are other names that make it to another list. This list is for names given to five or less children in that year and some are imaginative and for some even familiar. On that list you’ll find names like Goliath, Autumnrayne and Yuma, yes Yuma. Some where out there is a child maybe more than one with a city with their name. Also on that list is the name Vegas; which may be harder to explain than Yuma.
