Gila Ridge High School resuming classes Tuesday

UPDATE (3:50 P.M.)

Gila Ridge High School will be resuming classes Tuesday after the school closed its doors due to air conditioning problems.

According to Yuma Union High School District, the classroom time missed during Monday’s early release will not be made up.

GRHS Senior night will be taking place on Monday, May 14th at 5:30 p.m. as it was originally scheduled, the district said.

Gila Ridge High School will be sending students home early due to issues with the air conditioning system on Monday.

School will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. and buses will pick up students and run regular routes to their homes. Lunch will be served to the students prior to the dismissal.

Parents need to be aware that their students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. and make appropriate arrangements as necessary.
